Please read these terms carefully before using Fiscally's tax preparation utility.

Acceptance of Terms

Agreement to use services.

By accessing and using Fiscally ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

This Service is intended for use by Chartered Accountants, tax practitioners, and individuals familiar with Income Tax Return filing procedures in India. Users are expected to possess adequate knowledge of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and applicable rules.


Professional Responsibility & Liability

User obligations and disclaimers.

No Professional Advice: Fiscally is a utility tool for ITR file generation. It does not constitute tax advice, legal advice, or professional consulting services. Users are solely responsible for:

  • Accuracy and completeness of data entered into the system
  • Compliance with Income Tax Act provisions and CBDT circulars
  • Verification of generated output before e-filing
  • Maintaining supporting documentation as required under Section 44AA
Limitation of Liability

Fiscally and its developers shall not be liable for:

  • Tax penalties, interest, or prosecution arising from incorrect filings
  • Loss of data due to browser crashes, cache clearing, or device malfunctions
  • Defect notices issued by the Income Tax Department

Professional Indemnity:

Chartered Accountants using this tool on behalf of clients must maintain adequate professional indemnity insurance as required by ICAI guidelines.


Availability & Updates

Service Level Agreements.

Schema Updates: When the CBDT releases updated ITR schemas, we will update the application within 48-72 hours. Users are responsible for refreshing their browser cache to receive the latest version.

No Warranty: The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.


Intellectual Property

Copyright and Usage.

All intellectual property rights in Fiscally are owned by Fiscally or its licensors.

Permitted Use: You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
  • Remove or modify copyright notices or branding
  • Sublicense, sell, or redistribute access to the Service for commercial gain outside of professional service fees

Governing Law

Jurisdiction of India.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
